Actress Kim So Eun has firmly denied recent reports claiming she is in a romantic relationship with Suwon FC soccer player Jung Dong Ho, including rumors of marriage and overseas trips together.
On April 23, 2025, a media outlet reported that Kim So Eun and Jung Dong Ho had been dating for over a year with marriage plans and had traveled abroad together. However, Kim So Eun quickly responded, stating:
“The dating rumors are absolutely not true. The marriage rumor is also not true at all. It’s something I don’t even know about, and I’m so embarrassed.”
She clarified that her overseas trip was for work-related filming, not a personal vacation with Jung Dong Ho. Additionally, she addressed speculation that former soccer player Heo Beom San had introduced them, explaining:
“Beom San is a friend I’ve known for 15 years. Heo Beom San, Jung Dong Ho, and I are part of a golf group.”
Kim So Eun debuted in the 2005 MBC drama “Sisters of the Sea” and gained fame through roles in “Boys Over Flowers,” “Our Gap Soon,” “Lonely Enough to Love,” and “Three Bold Siblings.” Her contract with ASCENDIO Entertainment ended in September 2024, and she is currently without an agency.
Jung Dong Ho, a professional soccer player since 2009, joined Suwon FC in 2021. Reports had suggested the two were seen wearing matching rings, but Kim So Eun’s denial has put an end to the speculation.
