GOT7 is set to perform at Thailand’s Rajamangala National Stadium on May 2 and 3, 2025, but the excitement for their NESTFEST 2025 concert has been overshadowed by fan frustration due to organizational issues. BamBam and Yugyeom have publicly addressed the situation, urging fans to stay united while apologizing for mistakes made by the event organizers.
Concert Plans and Fan Expectations
GOT7, consisting of Jay B, Mark Tuan, Jackson Wang, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom, announced their NESTFEST 2025 concert in Bangkok earlier this year. The event marks their return to Rajamangala National Stadium, a venue they were set to perform at in 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic canceled their Keep Spinning World Tour. The two-night concert, scheduled for May 2 and 3, 2025, is especially significant as it celebrates the group’s 11th anniversary and is likely their last performance before Yugyeom and Youngjae enlist for mandatory military service in South Korea later in 2025.
Fans, known as Ahgase, were thrilled when the concert was confirmed. The event follows the group’s recent reunion in Seoul in January 2025, their first full-group performance since 2022. The Bangkok shows promise hits like Just Right, Hard Carry, and Python, a track composed by BamBam that has gained popularity through viral dance challenges. The first concert night also coincides with BamBam’s birthday, adding to the excitement.
Ticketing Issues Spark Backlash
Trouble began when the concert organizers, 411 Entertainment, introduced a local pre-sale for Thai residents on April 5, 2025, before the global public sale. This decision caught international fans off guard, as earlier announcements did not mention such restrictions. The local pre-sale, initially set from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., was extended to 2 p.m. due to technical issues, further delaying the global sale. Many international fans felt excluded, as they had expected equal access to tickets.
The ticketing process caused widespread frustration. All tickets sold out by 8:30 p.m. on the first day of sales, leaving many fans empty-handed. 411 Entertainment also announced the addition of floor seats and a general admission area with queue numbers assigned at purchase, but the lack of clear communication about these changes fueled anger. Some fans criticized the organizers for poor planning, while others defended the local pre-sale as a way to prioritize Thai fans.
BamBam and Yugyeom Address the Controversy
On April 27, 2025, BamBam took to his X account to express his frustration over being blamed for the ticketing issues. He wrote:
Before yall blaming I really want to show everyone what’s going on behind. What is the truth. But it suck cause I can’t. So many people will be effected by this. You know how upset I am? Got blamed on everything all the time. Without knowing the truth. Blaming and blaming. Why do I have to coverup someone mistake? Why do I have to coverup when no one is listening to a good advice? Why do I have to coverup when social media is fast and a lot just posting without permission. I hope I can show you every details from the beginning so everyone can understand how upset I have and I mean “me.”
BamBam’s posts garnered over 20,000 reshares, with fans rallying to his defense. One fan, @ilysb_xoxo, commented:
Stop attacking the artists for something that was never their fault.
Another fan wrote:
People need to leave him alone. Some of you are way too comfortable tagging Bambam everytime something happens, it’s not his job solely to fix the issues. Please stop putting the blame on him. His not your personal complaint handle.
On April 28, BamBam shared an emotional message, urging fans to stay united:
It’s really hard for us to see our family fighting. Please don’t let outside negativity break our bond.
to all my love💚🐥 after alot of dramas going on inside our own nest
is really hard for us to see our family fighting and tearing apart
alot of thinking after alot of things the more we're facing problems the more we need to stay together
Fans quickly defended Yugyeom, insisting he had no reason to apologize. Comments included:
Don’t apologize, it’s not your fault. We love you no matter what. Let’s enjoy the concert together. @411ent should be held accountable for this, not GOT7.
Other Members Speak Out
Mark Tuan also responded to the backlash on April 28, 2025, assuring fans that such issues would be avoided in the future:
I understand there are so many things going on.. I’m sorry about how everything turned out. This wasn’t how we envisioned things to play out when we decided to hold this concert. Stuff like this won’t happen in the future.
Jackson Wang, Jinyoung, and Youngjae also shared messages expressing disappointment over the situation and asking for fans’ understanding. The members emphasized their commitment to delivering a memorable performance despite the organizational challenges.
Fan Benefits and Concert Details
Despite the controversy, the concert offers various fan benefits based on ticket categories. CAT 1 ticket holders get access to a soundcheck event, VIP early entry, and exclusive merchandise like a lanyard, badge, and a set of seven cards featuring all members. They also have a chance to win one of 60 autographed posters. CAT 2 and CAT 3 ticket holders receive a random member card and opportunities to win special gifts or soundcheck access. Even CAT 8 ticket holders get a random member card and a chance to win one of five autographed posters. All attendees will receive an official concert poster.
Ticket prices range from 2,900 to 9,900 baht, with both seated and standing options available. The concerts, part of the NESTFEST World Tour, are expected to draw thousands of Ahgase from Thailand and Southeast Asia. The event is organized by Four One One Entertainment and will be held at the 50,000-capacity Rajamangala National Stadium.
The Rajamangala National Stadium holds special meaning for GOT7 and BamBam, who is Thai. BamBam previously sold out the stadium for his solo concert in May 2024, becoming the first K-pop solo artist to do so. During that show, he became emotional, recalling how GOT7’s 2020 concert at the same venue was canceled. He expressed his dream of performing there with all seven members, a goal now being realized with the 2025 concerts.
In a 2019 Instagram post, BamBam thanked fans after GOT7 sold out the stadium for their Keep Spinning tour:
I’ve been both worried and excited for many days but I always tried to be optimistic. Then today you showed us once again that we can always believe in you. Thank you, IGOT7, for finally making my dream come true.
The 2025 concerts mark only the second time GOT7 will perform at this iconic venue, following their sold-out shows in February 2020.
Fan Reactions and Support
Despite the ticketing issues, many fans have shown unwavering support for GOT7. Social media posts emphasized that the blame lies with 411 Entertainment, not the group. One fan wrote:
You have nothing to be sorry for. We’re with you always.
Others called for accountability from the organizers, with comments like:
@411ent should fix this mess, not GOT7.
The controversy has highlighted the strong bond between GOT7 and their fans. Many Ahgase expressed excitement for the upcoming shows, eager to celebrate the group’s 11th anniversary and BamBam’s birthday on May 2.
