SEVENTEEN Celebrates 10th Anniversary With Explosive Comeback Album and World Tour Plans

SEVENTEEN has announced their fifth full album “HAPPY BURSTDAY”, set to release on May 26, 2025, coinciding with their 10th debut anniversary. The group dropped a teaser on April 21, hinting at a new tour, unit single album, and additional content, sending fans into a frenzy .

The teaser video features a mysterious black envelope in a subway station, revealing the album title in bold red letters. The name “HAPPY BURSTDAY” blends “birthday” and “burst,” symbolizing the group’s explosive energy as they enter a new era .

This marks their first full-group album in seven months since “SPILL THE FEELS” in October 2024 and their first full-length album in nearly three years after “Face the Sun” (2022) .

Fans, known as CARATs, flooded social media with excitement. One tweeted, “Caratdeul it’s Comeback time! Let’s make the 10th anniversary the best comeback ever” . Another added, “This comeback is going to be legendary” . The teaser also confirmed a new tour, though dates and locations remain undisclosed .

Despite members Jeonghan and Wonwoo currently enlisted in the military, the group pre-recorded content to ensure an OT13 (all 13 members) celebration. SEVENTEEN recently wrapped their “Right Here World Tour” in February 2025, performing across Asia and the U.S. .

The album follows sub-unit BSS‘s January 2025 EP “Teleparty” and vocal unit leader WOOZI and performance leader HOSHI‘s March 2025 single “Beam” . SEVENTEEN debuted on May 26, 2015, with the mini-album “17 CARAT”, which included hits like “Adore U” and “Shining Diamond” .
