YouTuber Lee Jin-ho has shared new details about the financial struggles of the late actress Kim Sae-ron, including an alleged attempt to take her villa deposit money during her funeral.
Details About Kim Sae-ron’s Financial Struggles
Lee stated on his YouTube channel, Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho, that a high-ranking official from an education company had paid the 50 million won (approx. $37,000) deposit for Kim Sae-ron’s villa. According to Lee, the actress had been facing severe financial difficulties since 2023 and had borrowed money from multiple people.
“An official from an education company, who had a connection with Kim Sae-ron, paid the villa deposit on her behalf.”
However, Lee claimed that after Kim Sae-ron’s passing in February 2025, an unidentified person, referred to as Mr. A, visited the real estate agency during her funeral and tried to claim the deposit money. Lee did not reveal Mr. A’s identity.
Legal Dispute Between Lee Jin-ho and Kim Sae-ron’s Family
Kim Sae-ron’s family has been in a legal battle with Lee. On March 17, they filed a defamation complaint against him, accusing him of spreading false information.
Lee had previously suggested that Kim Sae-ron posted photos on social media implying a romantic relationship with actor Kim Soo-hyun, even though they were not dating. The family denies this claim.
On March 27, the family filed another complaint, this time under the Stalking Punishment Act, alleging that Lee was exposing private details about Kim Sae-ron and her family.
The police requested a court order to prevent Lee from approaching the family, and Lee reportedly received an interim measure decision, But he Continued
